What is a jazz piano voicing?
A specific arrangement of the notes in a chord. Instead of stacking from the root, jazz pianists play shells, rootless voicings and inversions — in all 12 keys.
Do I need to know jazz already?
No. If you can find notes on a keyboard, the coach starts you on simple shells. If you already play, you skip ahead.
Can I practice with a MIDI keyboard?
Yes — via USB or Bluetooth (Chrome or Edge on desktop). No MIDI? The microphone or the on-screen keyboard work too.
How much time do I need?
